WDSF Open Senior II Latin – Final largely in German hands
The top spots in the final round of the WDSF Open Senior II Latin were fought out among the German couples. While Benjamin Eiermann and Tina Zettelmeier clearly won all dances, the second-place finish was a close one. Alexander and Marina Engel finished just ahead of Alexander Seibert and Nina Seibert-Mishchenko, winning three to two. Fourth place in all dances went to Kalvis Deaks and Dina Deaka from Latvia. Fifth and sixth place swapped places after the first dance. After the samba, Marc Becker and Nicole Giersbeck were still in the lead, but were then overtaken by the French pairs Emmanuel Seguy and Geraldine Sadeski, who secured fifth place in the remaining dances and thus in the overall result.
