Frequently asked questions
During the event we have a lost & found corner at the main tournament office near dancefloor 6/7. After the event the lost property will be taken to the HTV office and kept there for a while.
The Eissporthalle is open for competitors and spectators from 9.30 am on Friday and from 7.30 am on Saturday and Sunday.
There is a large parking lot directly in front of the ice rink where you can park for a moderate daily fee (usually 3 euros).
There are various food and drink stalls both inside and in front of the hall. Especially competitors are also allowed to bring their own food and drinks into the hall.
Photos and videos of couples from your own personal environment (family, club) may of course be taken for private purposes. If you want to take photos and videos to publish them later on the web and possibly sell them, a free photo/video registration is required, but this does not replace the admission ticket. Press representatives (e.g. from associations, but not from clubs for capacity reasons) also have the option of press accreditation (for more information, see Contributors/Press).
As Hessen Tanzt is a major event with a large number of participants and visitors, only starting couples, judges, the tournament management and accredited press representatives should enter the dance floor during the dance rounds in order not to disturb the tournament. Exceptions to this are individual final rounds of the world ranking tournaments, which take place separately (without parallel tournament rounds on the other areas). Here you can also watch from the neighboring areas.
Klick on the "change" link at the end of your registration confirmation email. Now you can add additional competitions, for example.
No, unfortunately this is not possible (regardless of the reason for the non-start).
The star couples will be published the day at about 8.00 pm as a news item on hessen-tanzt.de.
