WDSF International Open Adult Standard
Just as in previous years, the final was conducted as a “solo” final, ensuring that everyone in the ice arena could fully enjoy the fantastic dancing on display. The finalists gratefully embraced the audience’s support and delivered a truly electrifying final round.
Dancing with commanding confidence through every round, the German Champions—currently ranked fifth in the world—made it clear through their very presence that, on this day, the path to victory ran solely through them. Only two top scores eluded the Dresden couple’s grasp. Second and third place went to Lithuania; in this internal national contest, Aurimas Meska and Gabija Damasiute clearly came out ahead of Pijus Palskys and Anna Berzina. Following in fourth and fifth place were Vladyslav Tsykhanovskyi and Veronika Tsikhanovska, as well as Joshua Khadjeh-Nouri and Jadzia Khadjeh-Nouri.
Dmytrii Forostianov and Helene Novalee Tilgert, who had delivered a superb performance right up to the semi-finals, were subsequently forced to withdraw due to injury and did not compete in the final.
