WDSF Open Senior II Latin – Clear victory for Engels
Alexander and Marina Engel claimed a clear victory in all five dances in the Senior II Latin. The decision for second place was much closer. With three second, one third and one fourth place, Patrick Niemann and Sandra Cancino were exactly one place ahead of Stefan Korfmacher and Nicole Rosendahl, who took one second and four third places. The last second place after dances went to Marc Becker and Nicole Giersbeck, who took two fourth, one fifth and one sixth place in the remaining dances, resulting in fourth place overall. Places five and six were separated by just two places. Dr Alexandr Uciteli and Hanna Lebid came fifth with 25th place, ahead of the only foreign finalists in this tournament – Kalvis Deaks and Dina Deaka from Latvia.
