WDSF Open Junior II Standard – Victory for Denius / Milicevic
The WDSF Open Junior II Standard was a clear affair. Kiril Alexander Denius and Jana Milicevic (Germany) won all dances by a clear margin. The remaining places in the final were also fairly easily allocated. Raiens Dusa and Ksenija Aksenova (Latvia) took second place in all dances, ahead of Jelisei Zemljannikov and Vlada Sidunova from Finland. Only David Babel and Viktorie Babelova from the Czech Republic, with their Viennese Waltz, lost one of their fourth places to the second German couple in the final – Erik Bozhemskyy and Anna Geist – who took fifth place in the other dances. Daniel Bures and Anežka Matlasová (Czech Republic) and Deividas Sostak and Indre Zukauskaite (Lithuania) were tied before the final, which meant that a final with seven couples was necessary. In the final, however, the Czechs prevailed against the Lithuanian couple in all five dances.
