Estonia Takes the lead at the WDSF Open Junior II Latin
Four nations were represented in the Junior II Latin final. As was the case in the Standard section for this age group, the tournament victory here also went to a couple from Estonia — specifically, Ronald Kogan and Alina Potapova. Tim Gordon and Elisa Huber from Pforzheim had initially held the lead in the Samba, but they ultimately finished in second place in the remaining dances and, consequently, in the overall standings. The third and fourth spots were claimed by two Lithuanian couples — Domas Lavinskas and Auguste Sliazaite, followed by Girius Ramasauskas and Gaile Vaiciulaityte — who swapped positions only in the Paso Doble. Taking fifth place was the second German couple in the final: Nikita Yakub and Anna Peterburgskiy from Düsseldorf. The final lineup was completed by Deniz Mert Isik and Pelin Top from Turkey, who thus secured sixth place in the final in both sections.
