WDSF Open Senior I Standard – Tournament victory goes to Italy, second place stays in Frankfurt
The Italian couple Stefano and Tatiana Manni clearly won all five dances in the Senior I category. Kristof Zsolt and Daniela Paul from Frankfurt only achieved fourth place in the Slowfox, but second place in the other dances and thus also in the overall result. Martin Cech and Katerina Cechova from the Czech Republic secured the free second place in the Slowfox, which in combination with two third and two fourth places in the other dances was enough for third place overall. Christian and Anja Platz from Rostock were close behind. A similar pattern was repeated for fifth and sixth place, with only one place number separating a German and a Czech couple. This time, however, the German couple Steve Hädicke and Antonia Adam (Dresden) were just ahead of the Czechs Tomas Kalina and Simona Kalinova.
