WDSF Open Senior III Standard – Close decision for the tournament victory
The tournament victory at the WDSF Senior III Standard was a close decision. In the Tango, the German champions Gert Faustmann and Alexandra Kley were still in second place behind Slawek Lukawczyk and Janine-Nicole Desai (England). They managed to turn the tide in the tango and also won the Viennese waltz. After the Slowfox again went to the couple from England, the Quickstep had to decide the tournament victory. This time, the couple from England came out on top and also won the overall tournament with the Quickstep.
Ingo Bauer and Sandra Fürsattel (Germany) followed in third place in all dances. The battle for fourth place was again a two-to-three decision. This time, the German couple Thomas and Susanne Schmidt prevailed against the Italians Marco Bernardelli and Lara Bonelli. Sixth place in the final in all dances again went to a couple from Germany, Gerhard and Marion Funk.
