Frequently asked questions
What parking options are there?

There is a large parking lot directly in front of the ice rink where you can park for a moderate daily fee.

Is it permitted to take photos or videos?

Photos and videos of couples from your own personal environment (family, club) may of course be taken for private purposes. If you want to take photos and videos to publish them later on the web and possibly sell them, a free photo/video registration is required, but this does not replace the admission ticket. Press representatives (e.g. from associations, but not from clubs for capacity reasons) also have the option of press accreditation (for more information, see Contributors/Press).

Who is allowed on the dance floor?

As Hessen Tanzt is a major event with a large number of participants and visitors, only starting couples, judges, the tournament management and accredited press representatives should enter the dance floor during the dance rounds in order not to disturb the tournament. Exceptions to this are individual final rounds of the world ranking tournaments, which take place separately (without parallel tournament rounds on the other areas). Here you can also watch from the neighboring areas.
